Tim was the Director, Relationship Management and Contract Execution in the Marketing and Origination group of BP’s Trading and Shipping Organization Chicago office (formerly Integrated Supply and Trading). BP’s Trading and Shipping group is responsible for all commodity trading, shipping and logistics for BP globally. In this role Tim was responsible for performance delivery of Trading and Shipping’s long term commercial contracts in the Americas, managing relationships with contract counterparties, and negotiating changes and amendments to contracts based on commercial and operational needs.

 

Tim has over 36 years of experience in the energy industry. He was the Head of Physical Trading Operations for 10 years, an Asset Trading Manager in BP’s Oil Trading International organization in London and a board member of BP’s Nerefco Joint Venture Refinery in the Netherlands, a Mergers and Acquisitions Project Manager, and has held numerous engineering and management positions in Amoco Oil Company’s Refining business.

 

Tim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and an MBA from the College of William and Mary.
